As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an additional Lead Graphics Programmer to join the team and help us in crafting the high-calibre games our fans have come to expect.


Responsibilities

  1. Lead, mentor, and coach our Graphics team.
  2. Assist with the recruiting of Graphics Programmers.
  3. Manage code reviews and code features documentation.
  4. Work in tandem with Larian Studios' other programming Leads.
  5. Assist in maintaining, porting, and extending our proprietary engine on multiple platforms.
  6. Debug and optimize code to hit quality and performance targets.
  7. Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high-quality standard.
  8. Develop well-designed software within the project schedule to team standards.
  9. Safeguard company assets, including source code, artwork, tools, and technical know-how.


Requirements

  1. Demonstrable Lead or Management experience.
  2. Extensive experience programming for games.
  3. Excellent C++ skills.
  4. Strong mentor and coaching ability.
  5. Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  6. Experience with graphics APIs like DirectX 12 and Vulkan.
  7. Experience with a wide range of CPU and GPU profiling tools.
  8. Multi-threading should be second nature.
  9. Passion for making and playing great games and for low-level coding and performance analysis.
