We are looking for an experienced and multi-talented Lead Environment Artist with the ability to conceive, create and lead the team in creating innovative experiences via artistic visuals for AAA titles. We would also love to hear from motivated Senior Artists looking to take on a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceive and create innovative artistic visuals for AAA titles.
- Lead the team in creating high-quality environment art.
- Manage art teams effectively, including resource management and the assignment of artists of varying skill sets to numerous studio projects.
- Liaise with and present to clients in an authoritative and professional manner.
- Develop and implement solid art production pathways.
- Troubleshoot and assess risks by finding creative solutions.
- Manage deadlines and budgets autonomously while maintaining high time-management standards.
- Stay up to date with cutting-edge artistic techniques and tools, implementing them into practical studio workflows.
Requirements
- At least 4+ years of experience in console development, with at least 2 shipped titles and one as a Lead Artist.
- Effective visual and verbal communication skills when directing internal or external teams.
- Excellent resource management skills and the ability to assign tasks based on varying artist skill sets.
- Self-motivated team leader who is outgoing, friendly, and gregarious with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in managing art teams effectively and in a timely fashion.
- 2-3 years of experience developing and implementing solid art production pathways.
- Ability to find creative solutions to troubleshooting and risk assessment.
- Strong understanding of cutting-edge artistic techniques and tools, with the ability to implement them.
